- GiveSmart Events and GiveSmart Fundraise don't fully integrate, and their processing of merchant fees is different.
- We would love for there to be integration with Venmo to give.
- The functionality of different crowdfunding options is a little hard to understand. For example, setup and customization for teams is different from individual funding.
- For our organization, the ability to set up ticketed events for our crowdfunding teams/individuals on the event page was limited compared to the ability to set them up as keywords in the fundraising platform.

A Great software with Great service.
- The event pages are excellent. They offer just the right amount of flexibility while making sure the user gets a clean experience. My only qualm with them is that they are housed on the GiveSmart URL and there is no way to house them on our URL.
- It processes payments smoothly and efficiently with no hassle for donors.
- It has some basic reporting on campaign transactions.
- It has some very solid P2P fundraising features.
- Their customer service team does an excellent job of working with clients (Shoutout to our amazing Customer success manager Carissa Jay!).
- It doesn't have a Mailchimp integration which is an unfortunate downside for us.
- The ticketing and check-in feature is painfully slow when trying to check people into an event. This is true even with fast wifi/data.

- Allowing a payment plan without the need to set up an account and login
- The option to report total dollars on a fiscal year basis, not only calendar year would be so helpful.
- The option to view how many total payments are remaining on a total sum/pledge - currently it only shows based on what is remaining per calendar year.

Great Service with Great Support!
- Their site is very organized and easy to navigate.
- They offer in-person support when we host our fundraising events.
- They offer flexible payment options and help keep track of fulfilled and unfulfilled payments.
- It might be helpful for to have 2 support representatives at large events instead of one.
- I wish I could click on the batch report and it would give me the option to download the CSV report specific to that batch (instead of having to look for it in another location on the site).
Our previous vendor was very static, visually unappealing, and lacked a great deal of overall flexibility and did not allow us to do Days of Giving at all. Using Givesmart has given us both flexibility and powerful reporting, as well as the ability to create and use the gift and registration forms we need when we need them with a minimum of fuss.

- The resources provided online are overwhelming. Would be nice if there was a downloadable reference guide.
- The video tutorials need to be updated and it would be great if they were "chunked" to take viewers to the section they need, without watching or fast-forwarding through sections that are not needed.
- Contracts should include some personalized training. It actually might help you "sell" the $200/hour training if people saw how useful it is. It would have been helpful to have someone provide an overview of the features and vocabulary.
- Calling everyone "users" is confusing. Consider calling staff "users" and everyone else can be donors or guests.
- It would be helpful to be able to include hyperlinks in the text when creating Fundraisen activity landing pages.

From MobileCause to GiveSmart
- Allows for the donor to easily include the credit card processing fees in their donation.
- Easy for the donor to enter their information and process their gift quickly.
- Easy to export information from GiveSmart/MobileCause.
- When selecting fields for exporting, it would be nice to see the form name attached to the field name. We have multiple forms and some of the field names are the same/similar from form to form. It's almost impossible to tell which field belongs to which form.
- Since GiveSmart merged with MobileCause, we are having difficulties paying our quarterly fee via credit card. We have signed up for this process a few times but still have issues getting our payments properly (and timely) processed like we did before the merge. (Our payments were automatically processed with MobileCause but it's been difficult, almost impossible, to get this process set-up with GiveSmart, even though they now offer it.)
- Hearing from our account rep every now and then would be nice.
I think that they are great for online donation forms, event sign-up forms, and survey forms. They are pretty easy to create and maintain.

- The accounting during and after an event is difficult. The way the deposits are made in your account if you have multiple events at the same time makes it so much work.
- Adding a volunteer (dummy) account can be difficult but once you learn how, it is easy
- Customer support is sometimes not up to speed, I find I know more than they do often
First 6 Months and 2 events later with Givesmart
- Training - they have a great training in place to get familiar with the system
- The registration and event site are very user friendly
- Ability to build an event site that is on brand with your event
- Reporting - Our Data manager has to pull multiple reports to transfer intoo our CRM, versus being able to do one large report
- You can't do "multi-raffle" discounts across multiple items - it all must be listed in one item box
- Emailing recipients - would like more variety than offered. When saying "ticket holders" you have to send multiple depending on the ticket they hold (ex. different sponsorship levels etc)
- Text to Give fundraising - provides convenience for donors to make commitment and then pay at their convenience.
- Peer to Peer fundraising - provides great options for peer to peer campaigns including the ability to record off line gifts to individual fundraisers or teams.
- Events Management - GiveSmart gave us the flexibility to switch many of our event activities to virtual experiences during the COVID crisis which we greatly appreciated and have continued to use for some of our smaller events.
- Would like to be able to save reporting criteria for daily gift downloads.
- Would like to be able to save several export field options for various reporting.
- Would like the ability to delete or repurpose keywords.
- Would like the ability to change team names and have those changes reflected in the url for the teams fundraising pages.
